A Selected History of the Albuquerque Wildlife Federation's
Volunteer Ecological Restoration Service Projects 1985-2023

Picture
In July 2024, AWF released a book documenting the past four decades of its ecological restoration volunteer service projects. The book profiles seven legacy sites where AWF volunteers have worked for many years, including Cedro Creek, Cebolla Canyon, Valle Vidal, and Limestone Canyon, and tells the story of how AWF’s annual projects have helped knit together both ecological and human communities through the work of restoration.
